Pune’s commercial real estate market has recorded an optimistic start to the year 2017 with rising number of transactions. Pune has witnessed 23% year-on-year growth in leasing volume during the months of January and February, said commercial realty data information and analytic firm Propstack.
Pune has also recorded 26% year-on-year rise in number of lease transactions during the first two months of the year. The market has seen declining vacancy level and rising rentals during this period.
During these two months, Pune’s office property market has recorded around 11% growth in lease rentals, while the vacancy level stood below 5%.
Micro markets including Hinjewadi, Yerwada, Kharadi, Aundh and Balewadi are some of the key pockets that have witnessed good leasing pick up in January and February, Propstack said.
